Kasar devi temple

Kasar Devi temple was built in the 2nd century by King Rudra and the temple became popular when swami vivekananda came here with his large group of Western seekers for meditation. this temple also gives a stunning view of the Himalayan peak and Almora city.

Every year the Kartik Purnima temple host a popular fair as a Kasar Devi Temple fair. Every year a large number of devotees and tourists visit there to attend the Kasar Devi Temple fair. the kasar devi temperature lies between 6°c to 20°c.

Zero point

Zero Point is a tower which is located on the premises of Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. One has to walk around 1.5 km in inside the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary to reach this point. One can see the stunning view of 300 km of Himalayan Peak from there. One place is rarely equally beautiful during both sunrise and sunset. Binsar wildlife sanctuary

Located at Jhandi Dar Hill, 35 km from Almora is full of rich with wilderness and natural beauty. Binsar wildlife sanctuary was set in 1988 when the Board leaf tree was decreasing in the forest.24 types of bushes, 25 types of trees and various types of herbs in the region. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary has more than 200 birds type also found in this region. While the journey of this sanctuary one can hear the sound of animals and the sweet chirping of birds. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary timing is between 9 am to 7:30 every day.

Bineshwar mahadev temple

 Surrounded by thick deodar inside the binsar wildlife sanctuary, binsar Mahadev  temple was built by King pithu in the memory of his father king bindu in 9th century.this ancient sacred temple dedicated to Lord shiva, worshipped as a bindeshwar, a popular Deity Of The Uttarakhand, hence this temple also known as a bindeshwar temple.every year in the month of June on the occasion of baikunth chaturdashi this temple host a fair where women take lamp on their palm and pray to god to fulfil their desire of kid.a12 km trek from here toward dudhatoli ones can enjoy the beauty of flowers , stunning waterfall, grassland while journey.view of memorising blue sky and snow clad mountain are breathtaking.

Chitai golu devta temple

 Far 10 km from Almora Chitai Golu Devta Temple, is one of the most holy temples in Uttarakhand dedicated to Lord Golu. lord Golu was a general in the Chand Dynasty in the kingdom of Baj Bahadur and he died while displaying heroism and bravery in a war.it is a special temple full of different-sized brass bells and hand-written prayer bells.it is believed golu devta fulfils the wishes of devotees if prayer with a pure heart.there are many shops outside the temple premises selling bell, other item used in pooja, wooden article etc.
